Ride the bus free within the AAU Aalborg CAMPUS · 11. October 2011

NT and AAU have launched a pilot project that allows AAU students and staff to travel free on the bus between stops in the campus area and to Langagervej 2 where AUB is located.

Here’s how it works:

The scheme is in now in effect. The ticket for a trip is purchased over a mobile phone and the price for the end user will be 0.00- plus the standard SMS charge.
A ticket is purchased as follows:
- SMS ‘CAMPUS’ to 1271.
- You will receive an SMS. Reply with ‘JA’
- You receive your ticket. Show it to the driver.

The ticket must be received on the phone before boarding the bus. The mobile ticket is valid for 2 hours from when it is received on the phone. The expiration time is shown on the ticket.

The ticket is valid for all busstops on Pontoppidanstræde, Bertil Ohlins Vej, Niels Bohr Vej, Selma Lagerlöfs Vej, Alfred Nobels Vej, Fredrik Bajers Vej, the AAU bus terminal and Langagervej 2 at AUB.

The routes that can be used at this time are Routes 2, 5, 6, 12, 14, 22, 24, 36, 54, 55 and 56.

NT is in charge of all operations. All questions about the mobile ticket must therefore be addressed to NT.

MetrobusNT ensures that the drivers on the routes that run between the relevant stops are informed about ticket options and limitations.

The ticket is only valid within the campus area in Aalborg Øst and cannot be used to ride, for example, from the campus in Aalborg Øst to AAU buildings or facilities downtown. Violations can result in a fine.
